I managed to wipe all my email addresses from the past year and a half in a bizarre mutliple hard drive mishap: Lesson learnt, but if you had contacted me or were on my email list, you might have to try again. Soggy about that.
Receiving eMal is very safe and secure. As I Bcc everything, your address can't be snaffled by others and I promise I won't send you too much stuff: Definitely no forward messages or anything except plain text and a little html about upcoming gigs. And removal is a breeze! I have lists for: All Areas, South NSW, North NSW, ACT, Vic, Qld, SA, NT, WA, Tas, NZ, Asia, Africa, Europe, UK, Ireland, US, South America, Canada and the special "Only inform me about big things like CD releases" list.
